As part of our Community Health Clinical Specialist
program, the Infection Control expert is prepared to respond
to biological emergencies and concerns that threaten the welfare
of a particular population, such as natural disasters and bio-terrorism.
Nurses prepared in the specialty often have an intergral role
in the team that develops the response strategy. It is the only
program of its kind in the nation.
