 Congratulations to Our FPB Midwest Nursing Research Society Award Winners
Nine faculty members and post-docs as well as four students of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing were awarded honors this year from the Midwest Nursing Research Society's 32nd Annual Research Conference, held in Indianapolis on March 28-31, 2008.
The 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Dean May L. Wykle, PhD, RN, FAAN. This award recognizes "an MNRS member who has significantly advanced the profession of nursing either through an extensive program of research or creation of environments where research can flourish, and whose distinguished career yielded outstanding and noteworthy accomplishments."
The Senior Scientist Award was presented to Shirley Moore, RN, PhD, FAAN; Susan Ludington, CNM, PhD, FAAN; Barbara Daly, RN, PhD, FAAN; Carol Musil, RN, PhD, FAAN; and Jaclene Zauszniewski, RN-BC, PhD, FAAN.
The New Investigator Award from the End of Life/ Palliative Care Research Section went to Maryjo Prince-Paul, PhD, APRN, BC-PCM; the New Investigator Award from the Adolescent Health Research section was given to Jill Kilanowski, PhD, RN, CPNP.
