Parents of twins slightly more likely to divorce
Associate Professor Elizabeth G. Damato comments for Reuters Health
Associate Professor Elizabeth G. Damato comments on a Boston study analyzing divorce rates among parents of twins. She adds that these parents' stress and lack of sleep may be worse than in parents with one baby, thus serving as a potential contributing factor to the higher divorce rates.
"Parents felt stressed because they spent so much time attending to their (infants') care needs ... that they don't have time to really enjoy them," she tells Reuters Health.
