NOTE!!!!!! The windows update pages will look slightly different now! But it is the same process!

To run windows update (aka update you operating system)

1) Goto http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com, Either from the start menu or typing it into your browser

2) Click Scan for updates

3) It should scan your computer for updates

1) To install critical updates simply click Review and install critical updates. Then Click install now.

2) Click accept

3) You’ll see the updates downloading and installing

4) Click ok to restart, Make Sure you have saved all documents before doing this, or they will get lost.

8) You shouldn’t be able to read this because you computer should be rebooting J
